Hi DSDBC family past and present

Many paddlers will remember Martin Hirst who paddled for Sydney Tsunami and formerly for Dragons Abreast Sydney. He also represented NSW at the Nationals and Australia (Auroras) 3 times for the World Championships. He was also a Board member for DBNSW from 2011-17. Many in the paddling community were shocked and dismayed to hear of his death. Sydney Tsunami is planning a memorial paddle to allow Dragonboaters to express their feelings the way we know best - on the water, with friends, paddle in hand. Sydney Tsunami envisage a respectful procession of dragon boats for a couple of loops of Blackwattle Bay. All are welcome.

Please 'register' for this event so that we can gauge numbers and plan our regular DSDBC Saturday training session to accomodate those who wish to stay on and attend the memorial paddle. We will ensure those that wish to attend will be back at the ramp as required. 

For past members, Sydney Tsunami has requested attendees assemble between 8.30 and 9 am to allow for allocation of boats and sign ons for participants not currently registered with DBNSW.
